| Airports | FRA Frankfurt Airport — 7 km straight-line · The S8 and S9 S-Bahn lines run between the airport's regional station (Terminal 1) and Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, and the stadium's own S-Bahn station lies on that corridor (RMV timetables list Stadion on the S8/S9 towards Wiesbaden and the airport). Journey time to Stadion was not found. Long-distance trains use the separate Fernbahnhof. |
| Long-distance rail | Frankfurt (Main) Hbf · Main station for long-distance trains. From Hauptbahnhof the S7, S8 or S9 reach Stadion station in about 6 minutes, plus a walk of about 800 m (10 to 15 minutes). There is no dedicated shuttle from the station. |

Getting back at night
Back to Hauptbahnhof you have the S-Bahn from Stadion and trams 20 and 21 (and bus 61 towards Südbahnhof). Eintracht says there are extra S-Bahn trains between Hauptbahnhof and Stadion after the match, extra RE70 stops and special trains, but it publishes no departure times. The KombiTicket covers the trip back too.
Last services
| Mode | Line | From → to | Last service | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Train Every day | S8 | Stadion → Frankfurt Hbf | not published | every 30 to 60 min at night. RMV: the S8 runs through every night, Monday to Friday and on weekend nights, hourly or half-hourly; it is the only S-Bahn on Monday to Thursday nights. No exact last departure from Stadion is published. [source] |
| Train | S7 / S9 | Stadion → Frankfurt Hbf | not published | Extra S-Bahn trains run between Hauptbahnhof and Stadion after the match. An undated RMV press release says the S-Bahn runs every day until about 01:00, with the S8 continuing; the S7 and S9 are not listed among the night lines. [source] |
| Tram Event days | 20 / 21 | Stadion → Frankfurt Hbf | not published | every 3 min (match-day line 20). Line 20 is a match-day special in addition to line 21. The pages we read give the 3-minute interval for arrival and no after-match end time. [source] |
| Bus Every day | 61 | Stadionbad / Osttribüne → Südbahnhof | not published | RMV lists bus 61 among the Frankfurt routes that run in segments around the clock; the special line 80 supplements it on match days. [source] |
Queues at the station
Neither the club nor the RMV publishes queue times for the return. The stadium recommends public transport precisely because parking is limited; the S-Bahn runs with more cars on match days.
If you miss it
Take the S8 from Stadion, which runs all night, or bus 61 towards Südbahnhof. On weekend nights the RMV night network also has trams 11, 12, 16 and 18 and the U-Bahn lines U4, U5, U7 and U8 in the centre. A taxi from the ground is the fallback, though the stadium publishes no stand.

How a visitor gets a ticket
Members first, then general sale
Eintracht holds a two-day members presale on a first-come basis with a per-member quota (for example two tickets for the Bayern game). If tickets are left, general sale opens the next day at 10:00. The official Ticketbörse is open to everyone except during the members phase. A normal league game is possible with some luck; a big one is hard.
Buy only from the club's shop or Ticketbörse. The match ticket doubles as an RMV KombiTicket only if it carries that print; check before you rely on it for the return trip.
Official channels only
- Official ticket sale: stores.eintracht.de
- Official resale: stores.eintracht.de
We never link unofficial resellers: tickets bought there are cancelled at the gate, and in the UK reselling football tickets without the club’s authorisation is a criminal offence.

Getting there
Public transport
Your Eintracht match ticket normally doubles as an RMV KombiTicket: public transport to and from the match is free of charge across the RMV area. Take the S7, S8 or S9 from Hauptbahnhof to Stadion (about 6 minutes, then 10 to 15 minutes on foot), or the tram: on match days the special line 20 runs every 3 minutes from Hauptbahnhof to Stadion in addition to line 21.
- S-Bahn: S7 (upper level), S8 or S9 (lower level) from Hauptbahnhof towards Frankfurt Flughafen or Wiesbaden Hauptbahnhof, get off at Stadion. The club says the walk to the stadium is about 800 m. The RMV tip is that the S7 has more free seats than the S8 and S9.
- Tram: lines 20 and 21 to the Stadion stop, about 10 to 15 minutes on foot; the club calls this the better option for main-stand and east-stand ticket holders.
- Bus 61 and the special line 80 run between the airport and Südbahnhof via Niederrad; get off at Stadionbad or Osttribüne and walk 10 to 15 minutes. The S8/S9 also stop at Niederrad, one stop from Stadion.
- Gates open two hours before kick-off. For big matches the club adds longer S-Bahn trains, extra stops of the RE70 at Frankfurt Stadion and special trains from Fulda and from Stadtallendorf.

Driving and parking
Possible but discouraged: parking is limited and the stadium asks you to use public transport. The lots next to the ground (Waldparkplatz and Isenburger Schneise) are only for drivers who pre-book a permit; parking without one is not allowed. The city has a low-emission zone and needs the green sticker.
- The Gleisdreieck lot is paid on site with no pre-booking. Parkhaus Sandhofstraße (university hospital) and Parkhaus Aculeum are open around the clock; the Aculeum is a 15 to 20 minute walk.
- Motorhomes up to 3.5 tonnes can use the car parks but camping and overnight stays are prohibited, and the automatic barriers prevent late departures.

Taxi and ride-hailing apps
Taxis and ride apps work in Frankfurt, but the stadium's directions page gives no taxi stand or drop-off point for match days; it only offers a phone and email contact for questions. Given the traffic around the ground, the S-Bahn and tram are the practical way.
- Stadium office for questions about access: office@deutschebankpark.de.

Bags and documents
Backpacks and bags up to DIN A4 (210 by 297 mm) are allowed, as are bum bags and waist bags. Power banks up to hip-pocket size are fine. Video cameras are not permitted.
- Gates open two hours before kick-off. The stadium points to its Stadionordnung for the full list of prohibited items.
Documents: The pages we read do not mention a photo-ID check for adults. If you use a print-at-home ticket, a named RMV KombiTicket must be printed in addition and is valid only together with that ticket and an ID or passport.

Where to stay
| Area | Why |
|---|---|
| Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof / Bahnhofsviertel | S7, S8 and S9 and the match-day tram 20 start here, about 6 minutes to Stadion by S-Bahn, and the S8 runs all night for the return. |
| Niederrad | One S-Bahn stop (S8 or S9) from Stadion and a walk from the bus 61 stops at Stadionbad and Osttribüne; handy if you want to avoid the central stations. |
| Sachsenhausen / Südbahnhof | Bus 61 and the special line 80 connect Südbahnhof with Stadionbad and Osttribüne next to the ground, and bus 61 runs around the clock in segments. |
