Getting back at night
Two metro lines and two night buses leave from the stadium's edge. The regular Paris metro keeps running late: RATP station pages say the last train reaches the end of the line at about 01:15 from Sunday to Thursday and at the latest about 02:15 on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays. The real problem is the crowd right after the final whistle: the RATP line blog reports very dense foot traffic on boulevard Murat and avenue de la Porte-de-Saint-Cloud. No per-match last-train time for the Parc des Princes was published where we could read it.
Last services
| Mode | Line | From → to | Last service | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Metro | 9 | Porte de Saint-Cloud → Paris (towards Mairie de Montreuil) | not published | Last train reaches the end of the line at about 01:15 (Sunday to Thursday) and up to about 02:15 (Friday, Saturday, eve of public holidays). The time at Porte de Saint-Cloud is a few minutes earlier and is not published per match: check the app. About 8 to 10 minutes' walk from the stadium fences. [source] |
| Metro | 10 | Porte d'Auteuil → Paris (towards Gare d'Austerlitz) | not published | Same network-wide end of service as line 9 (about 01:15, up to about 02:15 on Fridays and Saturdays); the exact last train at Porte d'Auteuil is not published per match. Closest to the Auteuil stand gates H and I. [source] |
| Night bus | Noctilien N12 | Porte de Saint-Cloud → Pont de Sèvres / Romainville-Carnot (across Paris) | not published | Noctilien night buses run from about 00:30 to 05:30. N12 is listed as one of the two night lines at Porte de Saint-Cloud; we could not open its timetable, so check the Bonjour RATP app for the next departure. [source] |
| Night bus | Noctilien N61 | Porte de Saint-Cloud → Gare Montparnasse / Clamart | not published | The other Noctilien at Porte de Saint-Cloud; RATP's timetable sheet shows departures from this stop every 15 to 20 minutes after midnight (sheet valid until 12 July 2026, so confirm the current one). Queues at the station
The crush is on the pavements, not in the trains: foot traffic is very dense on boulevard Murat and avenue de la Porte-de-Saint-Cloud right after the match, and the metro entrances can be held back for crowd control. Leaving a few minutes before the final whistle, or waiting 20 to 30 minutes in the stadium area, is the usual way to avoid it. Once you leave the stadium you cannot re-enter.
If you miss it
After the last metro, take a Noctilien (N12 or N61 from Porte de Saint-Cloud), or a taxi or ride-hailing car from outside the security cordon. If the metro is only crowded, not finished, walk one station along line 9 or 10 and board there. We could not open the RATP and Île-de-France Mobilités pages for the exact Noctilien timetable, so confirm it in the Bonjour RATP app.

How a visitor gets a ticket
General sale
PSG sells single match tickets to the general public on its official ticket site, and season-ticket holders can resell seats they cannot use on Ticketplace, the club's official resale platform. A tourist can buy either way without membership, but most of the stadium is held by season-ticket holders, so supply is thin and big matches sell out fast. We could not read the club's rules on member priority (billetterie.psg.fr blocked automated requests), so check the match page for sale dates.
Buy only from the club's own ticket office or Ticketplace. A press guide warns that tickets bought elsewhere may be refused at the gate, and in France reselling tickets outside authorised platforms is a criminal offence.
Official channels only
- Official ticket sale: billetterie.psg.fr
- Official resale: billetterie.psg.fr
We never link unofficial resellers: tickets bought there are cancelled at the gate, and in the UK reselling football tickets without the club’s authorisation is a criminal offence.

Getting there
Public transport
Two metro lines serve the stadium, and both stations sit at the edge of the closed match-day perimeter. PSG lists Métro 9 (Porte de Saint-Cloud) and Métro 10 (Porte d'Auteuil), plus buses 22, 62 and 72 at Porte de Saint-Cloud and 32 and 52 at Porte d'Auteuil. Access around the stadium is restricted by security checkpoints on match days.
- Métro 9 to Porte de Saint-Cloud. This is the station most people use on match nights; a French transport blog puts it at 8 to 10 minutes' walk to the stadium fences.
- Métro 10 to Porte d'Auteuil, then a short walk. Gates H and I (Auteuil stand) are on this side.
- Gates by stand: Paris stand A–G and away fans; Auteuil stand H and I; Borelli stand J–M; Boulogne stand N–P. Check your gate before you leave, because walking round the stadium takes time once the perimeter is closed.
- Bikes and scooters: staffed secure parking on Place du Général Stefanik, from 2 hours before kick-off until 1 hour after the final whistle.

Driving and parking
Not recommended. Traffic is very difficult on match days because of security roadblocks, and the stadium has no car park of its own.
- PSG gives the ring-road (périphérique) exit as D910 / Boulogne.
- A Paris events guide lists two public car parks nearby: Porte de Saint-Cloud (2 avenue de la Porte de Saint-Cloud) and Porte d'Auteuil (avenue du Général Sarrail). That guide dates from 2022, so confirm that they are open on match nights.

Taxi and ride-hailing apps
Taxis and ride-hailing apps work in Paris, but the club does not publish a pick-up point and the roads next to the stadium are closed by security cordons on match nights. Walk out of the cordon before you book, and expect high demand right after the final whistle.
- Treat a taxi as the plan for after the last metro, not as the main way home.

Bags and documents
The PSG practical-information page we could read does not list bag sizes or prohibited items. A press guide for the 2026-27 season says small bags are fine, large bags and suitcases may be refused, and storage for small bags, helmets and umbrellas is offered outside the stadium subject to capacity. Leave luggage at your hotel.
- Reported as banned: glass or plastic bottles, flares and other pyrotechnics, anything that could be thrown, and food or drink bought outside the stadium.
- Once you leave the stadium you cannot re-enter. Gates normally open about 2 hours before kick-off.
Documents: A press guide says to bring your ticket (on your phone or printed) and a form of ID. We found no official PSG statement on ID checks at the gate, so carry your passport or ID card anyway.

Where to stay
| Area | Why |
|---|---|
| Along Métro 9 (Trocadéro, Champs-Élysées, Grands Boulevards, République) | Line 9 runs from Porte de Saint-Cloud straight through the west and centre of Paris, so you get back to your hotel with no change. |
| Along Métro 10 (Odéon, Sèvres-Babylone, Gare d'Austerlitz) | Line 10 starts at the Porte d'Auteuil side of the stadium and crosses the Left Bank, a direct ride home for the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain. |
| 16th arrondissement (Auteuil, Porte de Saint-Cloud) | Walking distance, so the last metro does not matter; the area is residential and quiet, and you are far from the central sights. |
