EIN Eindhoven Airport — 7 km straight-line · Hermes runs two buses to Eindhoven station: line 400, direct (one stop at Woensel XL) every 15 minutes in about 20 minutes, and line 401, every 10 minutes, stopping at all intermediate stops. From the station the stadium is a short walk (see the transit section).
AMS Amsterdam Airport Schiphol — 107 km straight-line · The larger airport for long-haul arrivals. The NS station is directly under the terminal and trains run to Schiphol 24 hours a day; for Eindhoven Centraal use the NS planner, because the exact train pattern and the changes were not confirmed from an official page.
Long-distance railEindhoven Centraal · Main station for long-distance and regional trains. The stadium is a short walk from here, next to the railway line; the small Eindhoven Stadion station next to the ground only opens for matches and big events.

Getting back at night

No match-night timetable is published, so plan the way back before kick-off. The reliable option is on foot to Eindhoven Centraal (about 900 m) and then a train from there; match-day trains also stop at Eindhoven Stadion. The last train depends on your destination and was not found on any official page. For a match that ends at 23:00 check in the NS planner, before the match, the last train to where you sleep, and do not rely on night buses: none were confirmed.

Match ends at 23:00Match ends at 23:00 (Champions League kick-offs are 21:00): walk to Eindhoven Centraal, about 900 m, or board the match-day train at Eindhoven Stadion (only towards Eindhoven Centraal, per the station's description). No source read gives the last NS departure from Eindhoven Centraal that night, nor extra trains after ordinary league matches; extra NS trains and staff were reported only for the 2025 title celebrations. A 2017 news report says an Eindhoven night-bus trial was axed for low use, and no current night network was found. If your hotel is in Eindhoven, walking is the safest plan. If you sleep elsewhere, check the last train to your city before the match and keep a taxi as a fallback.

Queues at the station

No source gives typical queues at Eindhoven Centraal after a match. With 35,000 people leaving, expect the walk and the station platforms to be crowded for the first half hour.

If you miss it

Walk to Eindhoven Centraal (about 900 m) and check the NS planner for the last train; if there is none, order a taxi or sleep in Eindhoven. No night bus was confirmed. Eindhoven Airport buses (400 and 401) are day lines: their last departures were not found, so do not plan on them for a late return.

How a visitor gets a ticket

In practice members only

For most PSV home matches you need a PSV Club Card to buy a ticket, and the Club Card can only be applied for online with an account verified through iDIN, the Dutch banks' identity check: anyone who cannot use iDIN cannot get one. Members of Mijn PSV+ and the PSV FANclub get access first, then Club Card holders, and a per-person ticket limit applies. Because this is hard from abroad, PSV sells limited packages for foreign visitors for each home match, in bronze, silver and gold classes with different seating sections and a merchandise voucher. That package is the tourist route; the Club Card is not.

Buy only from PSV: the club's ticket shop and packages, or its resale. A ticket from anyone else is not guaranteed to work at the gate. PSV's ticket office answers questions at ticketoffice@psv.nl or +31 40 2505 505 (press 1); for PSV away matches, PSV advises contacting the home club.

Official channels only

We never link unofficial resellers: tickets bought there are cancelled at the gate, and in the UK reselling football tickets without the club’s authorisation is a criminal offence.

Getting there

Public transport

On foot from Eindhoven Centraal: the station is about 900 m from the stadium (a travel guide puts the walk at 10–15 minutes). On match days NS trains between Eindhoven Strijp-S and Eindhoven Centraal also stop at Eindhoven Stadion, a station that only opens for matches and events. PSV itself only publishes road and parking information, plus the PSV Direct coaches from nearby villages; it publishes no public transport timetable, so use the NS or 9292 planner.

  1. Arrive at Eindhoven Centraal and walk to the stadium (about 900 m).
  2. Or use the match-day stop at Eindhoven Stadion station. The station is closed off and has a footbridge straight into the stadium area (Wikipedia). Check the NS planner: PSV does not publish which matches have the stop.
  3. PSV Direct: a coach service between the stadium and Someren, Asten, Bladel, Eersel, Uden, Veghel and Sint-Oedenrode that drops you at the stadium and takes you home after the match. Tickets are sold on PSV's own site.

Driving and parking

Possible, but the north side is closed. The stadium's parking garage (P Philips Stadion) can only be reached via Anton Philipslaan. On match days the PSV-laan, on the north side of the stadium, is closed to cars, scooters and bicycles from Vonderweg to De Jonghlaan, by the Hartje Eindhoven apartment complex.

Taxi and ride-hailing apps

PSV and the stadium publish no taxi rank or ride-hailing pick-up point for match days. What the club does publish is that the north side (PSV-laan) is closed to cars and the garage entrance is on Anton Philipslaan, so a driver cannot reach you on the PSV-laan: set the pick-up on a street that is open and confirm it in the app or with the driver.

Bags and documents

Only small bags: up to 21 cm high, 30 cm long and 10 cm wide (nothing bigger than A4). Large bags, backpacks, helmets and valuables such as laptops are refused at the entrance, and there are no lockers to leave them.

Documents: Tickets are issued in a name: in the order, the buyer assigns each ticket to the person with the purchase right. Club Card applications run through iDIN, a Dutch banking check. The pages read do not state a photo-ID check at the gate.

Where to stay

Area Why
Eindhoven Centraal / city centre The stadium is about 900 m from the station, so you can walk both ways and you are on every train line, which matters because no night timetable is published for match nights.
Eindhoven Airport area Hermes buses 400 and 401 link the airport with Eindhoven station every 10 to 15 minutes by day, useful for an early flight; the last departures were not found, so do not count on them after a late match.
