Getting back at night

Plan for a queue: the club runs managed queues at every station after the match, and the way into a station is normally not the way you arrived. Friday and Saturday nights the Victoria line runs all night; other nights the last Victoria trains toward central London leave around 00:15, and the Weaver line and Greater Anglia have final trains around midnight that change with each match.

Match ends at 23:00Event ends at 23:00, Monday to Thursday: per TfL's timetable the last Victoria line train toward central London (King's Cross St. Pancras, Oxford Circus, Victoria, Brixton) leaves Tottenham Hale at 00:14 and Seven Sisters at 00:16, so after a queue you still have time but not a lot. Greater Anglia and the Weaver line publish no fixed last train; the club prints the final departures in each match's travel notice. For the 20:00 kick-off against Coventry City in October 2026 the last Weaver train to Liverpool Street left White Hart Lane at 00:22 and the last Greater Anglia train from Northumberland Park to Liverpool Street at 00:06. Friday or Saturday: the Victoria line runs all night, no deadline. Sunday is the tight night: the last Victoria train toward Brixton leaves Seven Sisters at 23:35 and Tottenham Hale at 23:33. If you miss it, night bus N279 runs from the stadium to Trafalgar Square from about 00:30.

Queues at the station

The club runs managed queues at all stations after the match: staff confirm with station managers when platforms are clear and ask you to follow their instructions. At Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale expect longer waits; the access route into a station after the match is normally different from the one you used before it, so plan your walk back in advance. Bruce Grove and Silver Street stations close for two hours after the match. No waiting time is published.

If you miss it

Night bus N279 runs from the High Road stops by the stadium to Trafalgar Square from about 00:30. On Friday and Saturday nights the Victoria line is still running at Tottenham Hale and Seven Sisters. Licensed black cabs and minicabs can't reach the stadium: walk about 15 minutes away from the closed streets before you call one. Or wait it out: stay inside the stadium's food and bar areas, which the club encourages you to use after the match, until the crowd thins.

How a visitor gets a ticket

Members first, then general sale

Spurs home tickets go to One Hotspur members first. The club says its matches are unlikely to reach general sale and are often only available to members, with one ticket per membership per match. Some matches do open to everyone: in 2026-27 Fulham is on general sale. The club's Ticket Exchange (official resale at face value) is only for season ticket holders and members. Concerts and NFL games at the stadium are sold by their own organisers, not through the club's football ticket office.

In England it is a criminal offence to sell or pass on a ticket for a designated football match without the organiser's written authorisation. The club says tickets remain its property and it reserves the right to take the strongest possible action against unofficial sellers. Buy only from the club's own channels.

Official channels only

We never link unofficial resellers: tickets bought there are cancelled at the gate, and in the UK reselling football tickets without the club’s authorisation is a criminal offence.

Getting there

Public transport

Four stations serve the stadium: White Hart Lane (London Overground, Weaver line), Northumberland Park and Tottenham Hale (Greater Anglia), and Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale (Victoria line). The club's own notices say Northumberland Park is closer than Tottenham Hale, and Tottenham Hale closer than Seven Sisters. The club tells you not to catch a service less than 50 minutes before kick-off.

  1. Victoria line to Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters, then walk or take a bus. On match days the club says trains run every 2–3 minutes in both directions, and prefers Tottenham Hale because it is closer. At Seven Sisters a pedestrian diversion (Birstall Road) usually operates before the match.
  2. From Liverpool Street: London Overground (Weaver line) direct to White Hart Lane, or Greater Anglia direct to Northumberland Park. The Weaver line is often closed or reduced on match days for engineering work: read the club's travel notice for your match.
  3. Free shuttle buses run from Alexandra Palace (Great Northern) and Wood Green (Piccadilly line) from 3 hours before to 2 hours after the match. You must register and book in advance, and show your e-ticket before boarding.
  4. TfL buses 149, 259 and 279 stop outside the stadium (stop Tottenham Hotspur Football Club) but are diverted to Lansdowne Road before and during the match, and return to the High Road after the final whistle as soon as possible.
  5. Gates open 2 hours before kick-off for general admission. Side streets around the stadium are closed to traffic from 2 hours before to 1 hour after the match.

Driving and parking

Don't drive. The club offers no parking to general fans and discourages driving. A large controlled parking zone covers the area, and side roads close around the match.

Taxi and ride-hailing apps

Road closures stop taxis and app cars reaching the stadium. The club says to be dropped off or picked up at least a 15-minute walk away (about half a mile). Use only licensed black cabs or licensed minicabs; Uber and Bolt operate in London.

Bags and documents

Personal bags must be A4 size or smaller: 21 cm long by 30 cm high. Larger bags are not allowed, and laptop bags are prohibited. All bags are searched at an outer cordon, which causes delays.

Documents: Tickets are digital and live in the Official Spurs App. Each ticket works once at the turnstile and you must enter at the gate shown on it; after entry it can't be passed to anyone else. The pages we read do not state a photo-ID rule: carry your passport anyway.
